A couple years back, shortly after Dilla’s passing, David & I kicked around the idea of doing short music videos/vignettes for the entirety of the Donuts album. Unfortunately, for one reason or another, that idea never materialized into something concrete. However, while scrolling the web today, I found what is said to be the very first label-approved visual from Donuts: “Last Donut Of The Night”, directed by Tuomas Vauhkonen — who did quite an amazing job if you ask me.
