Donwill’s “December 27th” is a somber-yet-optimistic tribute to his late father. The song, which features a dreamy beat by Don himself, is complimented by washed-out visuals that match the tone of the song, while glimpses of color, such as green grass, provide a sense of hope and relief. This contrast is echoed by Don’s refrain “you’re in a better place, it ain’t a better time”. We shot this video the same day as “Shake It Easy” and waited until today, December 27th, to unearth it.
